Synopsis: DWM, German Artillery Luger, Dated 1917, Matching Magazine, 4951f, FB00769 Description: Standard configuration DWM Artillery Luger from WW1, made 1917, with fine tune front and rear sights. Chamber dated 1917 with intertwined DWM on middle toggle link. Usual proofs on right side of barrel extension. Full serial number with letter suffix on forward frame and under barrel with serial number on left side of barrel extension. Last two digits on all usual small parts including both grips and magazine. Condition: G-VG original rust blue with superficial etching on barrel and largely faded sideplate as photographed. Strawed parts in slightly better condition showing no evidence of enhancement. Oil darkened grips with slightly blunted checkering and a few losses, particularly on the right panel just in front of the grip screw. Very Bright bore, sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics, the magazine release button a little sticky from congealed grease.
