Synopsis: German Military Luger from WWI dated 1918. Description: Standard configuration DWM Luger from WW1, made 1918, with drift adjustable front sight, and V notch rear sight. Chamber dated 1918 with intertwined DWM on middle toggle link. Usual proofs on right side of barrel extension. Full serial number with letter suffix on forward frame and under barrel with serial number on left side of barrel extension. Last two digits on all the usual small parts, the accepted grips unnumbered, correct tinned magazine with walnut plug numbered '817m/+/Erfurt marked.' Condition: G/VG with wear and fading as one might expect from a service pistol that has seen significant use. Comparable conditions small parts, with fading and discoloration. No suggestion of enhancement. Oil darkened grips, with blunted checkering but no chips or significant losses. Excellent magazine, with crisp markings on plug. Near mirror bore.
