Description:
Colt New Service "Civilian Model" 1917 double/single-action revolver chambered in .45 Auto. A rarer variant produced from leftover parts from the government contract run of M1917 revolvers. The serial number (335938) dates the firearm to a limited run of about 1,000 guns from the 1932-1933 timeframe. Features include a blued 5-1/2 inch barrel and frame along with checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. The frame was not drilled for a lanyard ring. .45 Auto
