SOLD // This rifle was commissioned by Cherry's for the 120th Anniversary of the Creedmore Matches, and it was built in Italy by Pedersoli. The italian markings are there but they are very discreet and tastefully done. Additionally, if you look in the book on Rolling Blocks you will see that the Italians did a very detailed close copy of the Nimshke engraving on the receiver. This is a very nice rifle. It has a metal wincheter style buttplate and a 13 1/4" length of pull. The front and rear sight are case colored and both are by Jim Kelley of Corvalis Oregon. His windage adjustable rear sight is very popular with long range shooters in matches everywhere. And to top it off, its in 45-70.The barrel is 34" long with a perfect bore. The action features a nice trigger pull too.
Brass is readily available and its an easy rifle to load for. You wont be waiting like I have for over two years for a certain company to produce another run of 40 or 45 3 1/4" basic brass...but that is just another aggravating story known by many shooters these days. Maybe after the election things will change, but maybe not.
