Synopsis: Exceptional DWM 1906 Dutch Contract Military Luger, one of 4000 assembled. Description: This beautiful example of a DWM Model 1906 Dutch Military Luger, cal 9mmP, has a 4” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and V notch rear sight. No chamber marking. Intertwined DWM on front toggle link. Grip safety and no stock lug. Serrated safety with safety position denoted 'RUST,' Crown/W on right side of barrel extension, and dated '1916' on top of barrel. Full serial number in front of frame and repeated under barrel, last two digits in usual commercial locations. Fully matching including the firing pin, rear toggle pin, and each of the grips. Correct magazine with unnumbered plug. Condition: Excellent, bright, original rust blue with faint sharp edge wear as one might expect from a lightly carried service pistol with slight dulling/freckling of the front/back straps. Comparable condition strawed parts with expected fading but no discernible enhancement. Oil darkened grips with crisp checkering. No splits or losses. VG magazine, whose unmarked plug a possible replacement. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
