Description:
A custom machined tool that provides leverage force to breech seat a lead slug in a Winchester Model 1885 Highwall Rifle. This tool is generic to Highwall Actions. It has been quality checked for fit and function in two original Winchester Highwall rifles, an 1887 rifle, S/N 9xxx, and an 1889 rifle, S/N 30xxx. The fulcrum block that goes into the open action is made of 360 Brass, nominal 0.730” X 0.950”. All other parts are steel.
A second component NOT PROVIDED WITH THIS LEVER TOOL is needed to breech seat bullets. This second component is a solid-filled brass cartridge case (or similar) specific to your rifle caliber and barrel. If you need help with this second component, let's discuss. This custom lever tool can be used with multiple Highwall rifles since the part specific to each rifle/caliber is the solid-filled brass cartridge case. Shipping $15 in US lower 48.
