Up for sale is a beautiful Pre Lock Smith and Wesson 686-4 7 shot 357 magnum revolver with a 6” barrel. It has been bright polished at the S&W Performance Center. The grips are a VERY nice set of book matched “Butcher Block” Maple, Lew Horton style combat grips with S&W medallions. This 686-4 has the desirable threaded sight mount, hammer mounted firing pin, forged trigger and hammer. All that combined with the rarity of it being a 7 shot makes it a great addition to any collection! When it comes to the S&W 686, the -4 revision is arguably the best and most desirable one you can buy to date. The 686-4 is the last revision of S&W 686’s that had all the desirable upgrades before the cost saving and safety features of the 686-5 and forward. It does NOT have the MIM hammer and trigger or internal safety that is found on the 686-5 & -6’s. The revolver is in beautiful condition, which can be seen in the many pictures. It will ship in a new Plano hard case.
