Description:
This is a very nice example of a rare 9mm Walther PP, sold in the commercial market in about 1939. All matching with "Crown N" commercial proofs. It comes with its original matching-numbered box, owners manual (dated 4/39), cleaning rod, Walther cleaning tin (with original rag and oil bottle), one flat-bottom magazine, and one finger extension magazine. There is not much finish loss on the gun, but the back strap appears to have been touched up with some sort of black enamel. The rest of the finish is original, high polish, and excellent. The frame has a really nice plum-colored tint to it. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore has great rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
