W. KETLAND AND CO. FLINTLOCK BRASS BARREL TRADE PISTOL CIRCA 1805-10. 14” o/a with 7 ½” round .60 cal. smoothbore pistol signed “LONDON” in a scroll cartouche. Birmingham proofs at left breech Barrel tang engraved with fur trade “TULIP”. Lock engraved with maker’s name. Truly superb example of the type used in both the American Northwest fur trade and the Canadian fur trade. 100% original to the last screw and in top condition. Excellent bore and perfect working order. Very handsome example and quite scarce. $2200
