Optical glass supplied by Schott Glasswerke on all small internal lenses and Low dispersion glass from Ohara Glassworks for the objective lenses. This scope multiple points of holdover for wind and bullet drop, measurements and ranging, as fine as 0.1 MOA spacing. The mechanics are perfectly tensioned with no slap whatsoever, and leave no doubt or confusion when the shooter dials, giving maximum confidence needed to win. Vertical range of adjustment: 125 MOA. The 50mm objective is a great compromise for low light optical performance and weight reduction. This new model with a 34mm tube, a large fast focus ocular and 11 position illumination rheostat. The reticle center dot illuminates and it has 0.25 MOA click adjustments with perfectly sized knobs. These features also make this model very attractive for hunting in difficult light conditions, in very rugged terrain and extreme temperatures.
- That scope has an advantage because it stays MOA consistent at all powers. You do not have to worry about what power you’re on so you don’t miss by a foot.
- A lot of shooters go to FFP, mostly for that reason. If they have to hold over using the reticle, they’re always in sync with the magnification.
- With only a 20MOA rail, you will have 10-15 MOA left before you hit the top of the adjustment.
- FOR EXAMPLE: with a 100 yard zero on a 300 Win Mag you will still have about 22 MOA before you hit the bottom, i.e. you will have 22 MOA to dial down below.. Remember, the scope has over 120 MOA
