Serial #S12877, .38-55 WCF, 30" octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a splendid rifle that has practically all of the original blue finish remaining on the barrel and buttplate, as well as a commensurate amount of original color case-hardening on the frame, breech block, lever, and hammer. The smooth walnut forend and buttstock have no handling marks or blemishes marring the original varnish either. The rifle is housed in the original shipping box with papers. The .38-55 chambering was discontinued in 2002, and this example is in virtually new-in-box condition. FFL;
