Synopsis: German Mauser P08 Luger, 1937 dated VOPO rework. Description: Mauser Luger, 1937 chamber date, S/42 code, typical VOPO rework with correct magazine. SN: 7854t. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration military Luger with 4” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed “V” notch rear sight. 1937 chamber date, middle toggle link marked with S/42 code. Full serial number with letter suffix on front of frame with the serial number repeated on left side of receiver. Usual Waffenamt acceptances on right side of receiver. Disassembly shows all matching numbers except for firing pin number 17, and an unnumbered extractor, rear toggle pin, and holdopen. Condition: Approximately 98-99% reworked/redipped salt blue as typical for a VOPO rework. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling.
