Description:
Serial #69L0768, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1944-dated rifle that has a Mk. III sheetmetal rear sight, and retains 90-95% of the original blue finish, with some silvering and gray fading at the muzzle and other high edges and projections. The matching number bolt has streaks of gray metal along the body, and a few small spots of dark freckling on the handle. The walnut forend, handguard, and nicely figured buttstock have numerous minor handling marks and surface blemishes in the military oil finish. The rifle comes with a single numbered magazine (0768), and has a small import mark on the left side of the receiver. This is a great looking Late War No. 4, and is in fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R;
