Very nice, Antique (May 1898) Winchester 1886, in the long reaching .40-65 which is simply the .45-70 case necked to .40, 26" round barrel. .40-65 has made a resurgence in recent years as a long range BPR target chambering.
Overall nice shape for its age, screws in good shape, traces of case color remain and patina'd, bluing ambering overall. Bore is very good for its age, crown has been cleanly retouched, action slick and tight.
Will trade for Winchester 52 Sporting or towards certain Model 21s.
