This interesting gun was likley made from a conversion kit offered by HIgh St belived from what we have been able to determine from about 1958 to 1960 . The recenlty published book on High Standard provides exact pics including the grip offered as part of the conversion. Additionally interesting is the absence of ser # in the usual spot right side of frame but is under the slide. We are located in Ct not too far from what had been the location of the Factory just 45 mins from us and we are guessing this was an employee gun but cannot be sure. It is in excellent condition. For those unfamilar with the higher grade of Ct made High Standards they are known of terrific accuracy, quality of manufacture and function in our experience more than Colt Target Woodsman. The magazine is a correct High Std Mag.
It has been test fired and functions perfectly
Comes with one barrel weight shown.
Barrels are easily interchangeble and is 6 1/2"
