Description:
Marlin Model 1894 Rifle is a lever action rifle that was introduced in 1894 by the Marlin Firearms Company and competed directly with the Winchester Model 1892. This particular rifle was made in 1905 and has a 24-inch full octagon barrel and full magazine tube. The blue is about 95% original finish on the barrel with some edge wear. It has standard stocks that have about +70% original finish remaining. The stock does exhibit some minor dings and dents from over a century of use. The action, lever, and hammer show good original color case hardening. The bore is about a 8 out of 10 with strong lands and groves and no pitting. The rifle has been well taken care of and would make an excellent shooter.
