J.P. Sauer's Sporting Rifles were marketed in the US through Colt. These are known for their smooth cycling, short bolt travel, and 60° throw. Colt Sauers are dressed in a fine American walnut stock with 18-line hand checkering and a high-gloss finish.
This one has a few minor marks in the stock, and worn bluing on the bolt handle.
