One-of-a-kind knife from the late great Phill Harstfield in the form of this very rare and being an astonishing Special Force III made for Phill's neighbor ( 1992) a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army, with a 8-1/2" blade made from A2 tool steel sstock with an overall length of 14-7/8". Blade is double ground from 1/4" stock and has a deep hamon on both cutting edges and an integral hilt. Red overTurkish tan cord wrapped handle with a rare US Airbone Wings menuke on one side and a Special Force Insigna Sterling Silver menuke on the back. Metal lined riveted leather belt scabbard.
