This item is a Winchester M1 Carbine (30 Carbine). It is in overall Very Good condition. The rifle was originally manufactured in late 1942-early 1943. During the late 1940‚‚s it went through the US Government Inspection and Re-build process. The following is the current set-up for the rifle: Winchester action with round bolt, Rock-Ola \"I\" stock with single pin handguard, Underwood barrel with bayonet lug. The rifle was re-built by Augusta Arsenal. The original push-button safety is installed and was not replaced with a rotary safety
