"Serial number 1247. Made in 1847. 44 caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. Very fine example of Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon. Metal is nice and sharp with a light brown patina. Cylinder scene has most of the original scene. Grips are excellent with most of the original varnish. The trigger guard still has most of the original silver while the back strap has 10% - 15% of the original silver. This gun is all matching. Cylinder is unnumbered and never had one. This gun comes with a letter from famed dealer and Collector Arnold Marcus Chernoff. Very rare gun in very fine condition from what you normally find these in!
