Description:
this blank was cut from a 200 + year old English walnut tree grown in Adams County Pennsylvania. The tree was app.62" in diameter and only had a 2 INCH sap ring, the remainder of the tree was brown heart wood. The tree was on a local farm for at least 5 generations until 1985 when a storm uprooted it. The blank was cut and stored in a barn from 1985 until I recently obtained it along with many more.. I actually have another cut next to it if any one would like to make a matcin pair of rifles.
