Description:
The Savage® A17 Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle features a unique delayed-blowback action, specifically designed to cycle the popular .17 HMR cartridge. A special lug locks the bolt in place for a millisecond, allowing most of the gases from burning powder to dissipate before the bolt starts its rearward motion for improved velocities and cleaner operation. A steel receiver and a hard-chromed bolt further enhance cycling reliability, while the Savage Accutrigger® allows you to adjust the weight of pull according to your preference. The blued steel barrel features button rifling for enhanced accuracy, ideal for hitting small targets at long range. The Savage A17 Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle comes with an ergonomic, weather-resistant synthetic stock and utilizes a detachable, rotary 10-round magazine for maximum firepower with minimal reloads. .17 HMR
