This Thompson Center Contender (not Encore) is chambered in .410 gauge, 3" shells. The serial number is 39912X; our research determines tis to be manufactured in 1992 and therefore a Gen 1 receiver.
The vented rib barrel length is 21" and has an screw-in choke that is unmarked, but the inside muzzle dimension is 0.389". With choke removed, this Contender's barrel is capable of firing .45 Long Colt cartridges.
This firearm has an easy open pin and features a toggle to select between rimfire or centerfire.
