Serial No. 78538, made in 1882, .45 caliber, 7.5"" round barrel marked with ""COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO. HARTFORD,CT.U.S.A."". The barrel address is faint in some areas but legible. Three line marking of 1871-1872-1875 patent dates are visible on the left side of the frame. Serial numbers are matching, metal is mostly a dark brown/grey patina with surface oxidation noted. Grips have expected handling wear visible with scattered varnish visible on the woods surface. Action functions and indexes correctly with a good lock up. ConsignmentÂ
