Here's a Handsome Example of Winchester 1866 SRC ! Serial number 158977 shipped in late 1881. Original 44 Rimfire. Looks to me this gun was carried on a Horse ! The wear on the bottom of the forend indicates this . Gun has most of the barrel blue that has turned a nice blue brown patina . Metal has wear on it . Some dings on the original tube . Overall metal is very nice ! Brass frame and butt plate have turned a Beautiful Mellow Patina ! Gun has original sights . Original Walnut Stocks are in very good untouched condition. With dings and wear from use . Near the bottom of receiver is where that saddle wear is from sting on the saddle when riding a horse ! Bore is very good and a little ruff but very shootble . Mechanics are in very good plus condition. Gun is in excellent working condition. Awsome looking Winchester Model 1866 SRC .
