Vintage original Antique Indian Wars era U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle. Serial number 401528, manufactured ca 1888. Caliber 45-70 Springfield. 32 1/2" Barrel. 13 1/2" length of pull to original US marked metal butt plate. Original Buffington rear sight graduated to 2000 Yards. Fine walnut stock with partial SWP Cartouche remaining. Stock has chip at right side toe and right side upper tang. Fine overall condition(See photos). Excelllent bright shiny bore with no rust or pitting retaining beautiful crisp, clean rifling. Bore rates 8-9 on 1-10 Scale. Antique, no FFL required to ship to most areas of the USA.
