31990-MOROCCO MIQUELET LOCK JEZAIL MUSKET CIRCA LATE 1700’S. 52” o/a with 38” octagon/round .60 cal. smoothbore barrel with maker cartouches at breech and the original front and rear sights. Ivory inlaid butt with large flared butt plate. Brass barrel bands. Lock with Islamic maker’s touchmark below pan. Excellent all original. Nice old metal patina. Stock with the old dark original finish. Lock in working order with all the original lock parts. Original metal ramrod.
