Maple stock with the original dark stained finish and brass mounts and trigger guard. Double triggers with forward trigger missing. Openwork side plate lost long ago replaced with contrasting color wood filler. Lock a replacement with very scarce British Pattern 1810 Tower Baker Rifle lock with all the original lock parts. Touch hole re-bushed with screw in plug and probable re-conversion. Ramrod original. Probably the work of the well known Spitzer shop in New Market. Has many features common to their rifles.
