JC Higgins Model 30 - Semi - Auto .22 LR Rifle - Smooth 2 piece walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with built in 1 In. wide red retractable carry sling with butt plate. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a front blade sight. 15 round tubular magazine. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes an original JC Higgins 4X Scope, rings, adapter and len covers. Scope is in very good condition with clear lens. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 85% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes new soft sleeve. Manufactured by High Standard from 1950 to 1953. Very stylish rifle both then and now.
