Steyr Mannlicher-Schoenaur Model 1910 Take Down rifle chambered in .375 Nitro Express (9.5x57). 24” barrel. Serial number 4310. Pop Up tang peep sight. Two leaf rear sight. The Take Down Model 10 rifle was special order as was the Tang Peep Sight. English and Vienna proofed. Top of barrel marked Watson Bros. 29 Old Bond St. London”. What appears to be original blue is beginning to turn to a greyish patina and there is lite freckling. The finely checkered walnut stock showing some signs of handling is excellent. Locks up tight and functions as it should. Very good bore. Silvers type recoil pad. Very small “Thad Scott Indianola MS” import mark on right side of barrel just ahead of rear sight. This is a fine example of a scarce model! $2549.00
