Description:
This one has a few bumps and bruises but presents well, is original , and probably not shot a whole lot. The wood is actually excellent except for a few fairly deep gouges on the butt and forend. It doesn’t show signs of being carried through the woods a lot. Forearm is crack free and solid. The blue is 85% with an area on the left side where maybe a chemical was spilled or perhaps blood stain… I have no idea. The top tang and belly show fading blue. The barrel is a St Louis Montreal barrel that was born improved cylinder but has been properly opened to skeet and so marked with an S over the slash. The choke is .003. The barrel is about 85% as well with some blue loss but otherwise excellent. Almost all the gold is still on the trigger. Bolt face and inside is clean. It really does not appear to have been shot much. Just an attractive shooter with a nice upland barrel. There is a glare in the barrel picture that appears to be a long rub . It does have the typical A5 slide mark but no other long rub.
