Description:
"SN: 2128. Made in 1954 by FN with a 23.2-inch barrel for the Armada de la Republica Argentina (or ""ARA"" - Argentine Navy). This rifle was converted to 7.62x51mm in Argentina by Metalurgica Centro through the installation of a new barrel. At the same time it was modified to feed from a proprietary 20-round detachable box magazine (also produced by Metalurgica Centro). Condition overall is excellent with a bright bore & factory original black enamel paint over phosphate finish on the metal parts. The walnut stock is also in excellent condition with minor handling wear noted. A small surface crack is noted right side of trigger guard. A great rifle for the true military collector!
