Description:
Beautiful high grade Evans built with 30" brls that have concave top rib with small steel front bead. Rib with gold inlaid "1" at breech end and makers name and address engraved. Brl flats with proof stamps. Splinter forend with nicely scroll engraved Anson push button release and iron. Boxlock receiver is near full coverage fine scroll engraved with makers name at center. Fences are fabulously fern leaf carved and scroll engraved. Blued top lever with gold inlaid "1" at center. Top tang with gold inlaid "SAFE" in front of slide is nicely scroll engraved. Blued trigger guard with "1" at center and scroll engraved with SN at center of long tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip buttstock with carved teardrop behind receiver is checkered in 2 point pattern, has brass oval on toeline, and terminates with scroll engraved heel and toe plates.
Overall the gun remains in very good as field used and partially restored condition. Brls with 90-95% professionally restored rust blue. Forearm with scattered impressions and small repair towards muzzle end on right side. Frame with about half of its original case color. Trigger plate with nearly all of its professionally restored blue. Trigger guard with most of its well refurbished blue. Expert replacement buttstock is excellent with scattered light impressions and handling marks. Bores are mostly bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent.
