Description:
1903 Springfield rifle with a high number Rock Island receiver built by James River Armory. I bought this rifle from James River with new Criterion barrel and new “C” stock. Malcolm 6X scope with MVA Winchester type mounts with the mounting blocks set on the barrel and fixed rear sight base. This is the early U.S. Marine set-up where the receiver is not drilled and tapped. The rifle remains in excellent condition with hardly a scratch in the wood and bright shiny bore. The stock is marked with a D.A.L. cartouche. Also included is a matching handguard uncut for scope mounting blocks and the 1903 rear sight so the rifle can be switched to the iron sight configuration. Comes with James River and other documents. Additional pictures upon request. If you do not want the scope, mounts, and handguard deduct $400. Shipping to your FFL dealer $85 from a private seller.
