Description:
22lr, serial number 238XX. Rebuilt and rebarreled. 28" round heavy barrel, no makers marks. 1.06" at muzzle. No sights. Dovetail cut for front sight. Bore is excellent. Receiver rebuilt (tightened), top of receiver retains pitting. Sides have been cleaned, but nomenclature still evident. 2 tang sight holes behind receiver, additional hole filled. Original buttstock has been cleaned and refinished, hole in top has been filled, otherwise very nice. Original buttplate stands slightly proud. Forend originally cut for octagon barrel. 3/4" crack on left side of forend. Weighs approx 11.3lbs. Please ask for additional photos. Please contact us for shipping and insurance cost.
