Built by Bain & Davis in 1998 using a Mauser sporterized action with a Douglas barrel on a Monte Carlo style stock.
Leupold Vari-X 3i 4.5-14x40 scope seated in Talley rings with a Harris bipod. This set up is everything you need whether hunting in a blind or out west.
A classic hunting rifle that has served me well with many more serviceable years. Accurate and reliable, it has proven effective on deer and hogs.
I purchased this rifle from Red at Bain & Davis in San Gabriel, CA after he built it in 1998. See purchase receipt. Hunted sparingly, it's been stored in a safe when not in the field.
