Description:
This William Evans 400-360 is one of the most well balanced and accurate double rifles I have ever owned. Made ca 1909, it comes with its original case and 26" chopper lump barrels with excellent rifling. It weighs 9 1/4lbs with a 14 5/8" length of pull. To the best of my knowledge, all finishes are original with faded case colors on the action and some minor blueing wear on the barrels on the barrels where I carried it on a safari in Mozambique in 2017. On this safari it took one Cape buffalo (with one shot) and two impala. The stock is in very good condition and the flat top checkering in very good condition.
