This is a classic! As one would expect from a firearm this age, there are several scratches and dings in the wood. The barrel and receiver are pretty worn with the original bluing missing in many areas. There‚‚s a few small dents on the barrel, though they are not significant other than how the gun looks. The rifle is operational. The bore has strong rifling near the receiver, though it thins towards the muzzle.
The serial number on this rifle is: 241604
We have assessed it between 50% and 60% condition.
.25-20 WCF, 24 in. octagon barrel, blue, tube mag., forend cap, crescent butt. Approx. 1,000,000 mfg. between 1892-1941.
