ALL ORIGINAL COLT U.S. 1873 ARTILLERY MODEL SAA ARMY REVOLVER. 45 Colt cal. with 5 ½” barrel. Frame inspected and stamped “U.S.” with three-line patent dates. Correct mixed serial numbers from original Cavalry Model parts including parts from original Cavalry issues to the 5th, 6th and 8th Cavalry Regiments all of which saw extensive service during the Indian Wars. Excellent overall with minor thin blue mixed with even soft patina. Light traces of case colors in frame recesses. Excellent markings and Ordnance Sub-inspector stamps. Crisp barrel address. Very tight working order and excellent bore and chambers. Original grips with the original finish and a faint cartouche at base of left flat. All original screws in extra nice condition.
