Description:
Manufactured in 1978 (RP serial date code), this gun was bought new and stored in preservative. Ad the original owner recently passed away, the gun is now available. As you can see in the photos, the breechface appearance indicates that the in has never been fired. There are, however, a couple of handling marks in the wood as well as a frosty patch at the front face of the forearm wood finish.
The gun appears to be completely unmodified, as it left the factory. The ribs have significant convergence with the barrel, indicating a POI of somewhere between 80/20 and 90/10. This will be a real shooter! Both barrels are serial-numbered to the gun. The gun comes complete in its original Browning factory case.
