Serial No. 23180, circa 1876-1877, .38s&w, 3.25"" round barrel. Approximately 40% of the original nickel finish remains and has turned dull with the rest of the metal turning to a dark grey patina. Bore has frosting and pitting visible in the grooves with traces of rifling visible. Brown checkered grips are worn, especially on the right side. Action functions and indexes correctly.
