Listed is a Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army Tip-Up. The serial number is within the Civil War range of revolvers at that time.
The revolver has a 5 1/2" octagon. The blueing is approximately 80% to 85%. There are some light scratches on the frame from handing and useage.
The grips are the original wood and in excellent condition.
This model was used as a sidearm during the Civil War. Only 77,155 were manufactured between the years 1861 to 1874 with the serial number range of 1 to 77,155.
