Description:
Winchester Model 12 Skeet. 12 gauge, 26" barrel with solid rib and WS-1 skeet choke. Look at the photos..this is a really fine looking Model 12. It is configured as a Pigeon Grade with 12-1A engraving on the receiver with 98% finishes and jeweled bolt and carrier. The American Walnut used for the stock and forearm are nothing short of beautiful; with fabulous grain and a rich/dark caramel oil finish. A really nice looking Model 12
The rest of the story is that this gun was meticulously upgraded to it current condition. Made in 1952, I have no doubt that this was a factory solid rib skeet. Then, I don't know when, the gun was engraved, the Pigeon was added, the bolt and carrier jeweled and a fabulous blue job was done. Probably at the same time the gorgeous stock and forearm were added as well.
The stock has a 14 3/4" LOP over the red rubber Winchester recoil pad; 1 9/16" DAC and 2 1/2" DAH with neutral cast. Weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. This gun would make a fabulous Vintage target gun and/or an ideal/nostalgic upland game gun.
