Description: P-36-40 Lyman – Left Hand – Great Plains -50cal – Percussion – Stk# P-36-40 This left hand .50 caliber half stock percussion Great Plains rifle manufactured by Lyman has a blued octagon 15/16" x 33" barrel with 1:66 twist that is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and a blade front sight. There is some pitting around the nipple on the breech plug. The bore is in very good condition with clean sharp rifling. The European Walnut half stock is mounted by all steel furniture that has been blued. There are a few dents and scratches in the stock from usage. A color case hardened percussion lock is activated by double set triggers. Rifle comes with a factory ram rod. Length of pull is 14-1/4", Overall Length 50” Weight is 8.8 lbs. Good wood to metal fit.
