Listed is a Colt Automatic Pistol, Caliber .22lr Target Model. This target pistol pre-dates the Woodsman Model.
It has a 6 5/8" barrel, 10 shot magazine w/ a bottom release, and checkered wood grips. The front and rear sights are adjustable.
Only 54,000 were manufactured between 1915 - 1927. this is an early model with a pencil barrel.
It has a 4 digit serial number. 85xx.
The left grip has a small indention in it and the right one is in excellent condition.
The bore is clear and clean, no pitting.
This pistol retains approximately 75% to 80% of its original finish.
The right side of the slide has some slight pitting.
