Description:
An Early Civil War Remington Beals 1st Model, 4th Issue Pocket Revolver In Very Nice Condition. Only made from 1857-1858. This was the first revolver that Remington made which was right after Colt's Master Patent expired in 1857. The revolver has fine metal and edges with very good markings on the top of the frame. It is marked "MANUFACTURED BY/REMINGTON'S/ILION N.Y."  The metal on the gun appears to have some areas that were refinished a long time ago, mostly on the cylinder and frame. The hammer still has original darkened case colors on it. The trigger guard retains fine silver plating. The original gutta-percha grips are fine throughout. The revolver has a nice action and bore. This Is A Beautiful Looking Example Of A Very Early Civil War Remington Beals 1st Model, 4th Issue Pocket Revolver That Has Nice History Behind It!
