All original and complete. The rare pistol has a fine brass cannon muzzle end on the barrel, a brass eagle & shield butt plate, a brass trigger guard, and two brass finials holding the brass tipped ramrod. The engraved lock and hammer were imported by "Halbach & Sons" and are marked "LONDON/WARRANTED". All of the brass & iron on the pistol are fine and untouched with a nice even patina on them. The Brass Eagle & Shield Butt Plate were a trade mark Of "HALBACH & SONS". The wood on the pistol is fine throughout with a wonderful natural dark color to it. The pistol has a fine action in it. The pistol measures 12 inches in length and has a 7 inch barrel on it. This Is A Very Fine Example Of A Very Early & Scarce "Halbach & Sons" Civil War Single Shot Brass Cannon Barreled Pistol.
