Description:
I have this antique Springfield Armory Model 1861 Civil War Rifle-Musket, made circa 1862 in Springfield Massachuttes. The Model 1861 was the primary musket  at the strart of the American Civil War, it was designed to fire the .58 caliber minie ball. This was to be the last hurrah of the rifle muskets by the Springfield Armory.
The overall condition is poor, this rifle looks like it has been thru a battle. There hasn't been anything done to it to make it look nice. The hammer will cock and when the trigger is pulled it will release the hammer. The sight will swing up and down. The ramrod is stuck in the stock. Look at the pictures to see the condition before buying.
Appraised for $1300
