We are offering a 1940 Winchester 12 Skeet Model. The barrel is stamped WS-1 for Winchester Skeet-1 and the bottom of the receiver below the serial number (dating 1940) is stamped SKEET. This is a fixed choke skeet barrel with solid rib and red bead front sight. The barrel measures about 25.5\". The wood is a mid-grade checkered target wood. The recoil pad has been altered to fit the previous shooter giving this a LOP of 14\". It is a thicker rubber recoil pad the reads \"KICK EEZ\". This gun makes for a great shooter given the excellent condition it is in.
Condition: Excellent
This gun has been immaculately cared for. It was owned and used and stewarded by a true professional. That said, the most notable point is where the recoil pad meets the stock. The wood shows wear, as well as where it meets the receiver. On the rear of the handguard, there is some minor wear of the finish. There is a minor scratch right behind the slide release button. A minor scratch where the barrel meets the left side receiver and a very minor mark on the left side of the rib. These are mostly nitpicky however - as the overall condition of this gun is truly excellent.
