Description:
The John Browning designed Model 1911 pistol is an American classic. It was the standard issue U.S. Military pistol from 1911 to 1985 when it was replaced by the Beretta M9. This is 1911 A1 was manufactured by the Ithaca Gun company during World War Two. Ithaca produced about 400,000 1911 A1 pistols during the war. This pistol has its original parkerized finish and is a good example of the Ithaca 1911 A1 .45 ACP pistol. The safety detent plunger and spring are missing on this pistol. This pistol was manufactured in1943. .45 ACP
